Membership types

Annual and renewal membership rates for the period from 1st January to 31st December are :-

• Family membership is £25.00 - Members of one family living at the same address.
• Adult membership is £20.00
• Junior/Concessionary/Student is £10.00 - Open to the under 16 / over 65 / student card holders
• Associate membership is £20.00 - For schools, clubs and other societies giving access of 5 members per visit

Pro-rata rates apply to those joining throughout the year

These rates are shown on the current membership form on this site, they are also displayed on the clubhouse notice board.

New Members will receive the current annual "Astro calendar", two postcard of their choice, our own newsletter called "Cygnus" which is published quarterly. A membership card entitling them to reduced entry fees to our open nights, and use of the observatory facilities every Friday night.

You are welcome to come down on a club night or public open evening!

or download your membership form in Word or PDF format and post with cheque made payable to Norwich Astronomical Society. Please note we would still prefer new members to visit the observatory and collect their welcome pack.

We also request that you fill out a Gift Aid Declaration so the society will be able to claim back the tax from your membership or any donations you may give. This will benefit the society greatly but only do so if you pay tax. Please note this will not affect you in any way. Thankyou.
