In the summer of 2004 it was decided to double the size of the Genesis Dome shutter as it was thought, by most that it was made too small. A number of members created a wooden template and new fiberglass shutter was produced from this over many weeks. The old shutter rails were taken off the dome to be enlarged to accomodate the new shutter and repainted. Once all of those stages were completed it was time to secure the rails back on the dome and install the new shutter. Working party photos -
